You are an exhibitor at InterCool. What are your expectations and why did you decide to participate at InterCool?
The InterCool trade fair is the international meeting place for the frozen food industry and a must for us at erlenbacher backwaren. InterCool is an ideal platform and we can interact directly with our sector’s top decision-makers from Germany and abroad. In our discussions, we focus primarily on new innovative product concepts and ideas.
2011 saw a boom of the frozen food market. Does that also apply to frozen bakery products?
The answer to this question is a clear YES. Frozen bakery products have been growing steadily for years. Their consistent quality, high level of convenience, and availability throughout the year are only some of the important key factors for the growth in this product segment.
In 2011, you were awarded the “Preis der Besten” (Best of the Best) gold prize for your many years of high and sustainable quality production. What is your recipe for success?
First and foremost, our recipe for success is based on excellent staff with an outstanding level of professional expertise and know-how. The use of high quality raw materials (there is no compromise in this matter) and our passion for making products with a lot of attention to detail, products that taste home-made - all of these contribute to our success.
Continuous controls and improvements of the respective high quality standards are indispensable, and each and every member of the erlenbacher workforce is responsible for quality.
