Positive outcome of first DIRAFresh strawberry season

The beginning was hard but on the whole, the season turned out pretty well. DIRAFresh strawberries received a lot of enthusiasm on its packaging and taste. "Especially the taste was appreciated," says Johan of Nicolaï Fruit nv, the European distributor of DIRAFresh strawberries, in an interview with Fresh Plaza. "It really was a selling point. Many people indicated that these were sweeter than the Spanish ones. This is because the Moroccans had more sunlight."

The DIRAFresh project continues: in the future more fruit varieties will be available under this brand.
