Visit the SAVE FOOD exhibition at MULTIVAC.

Until 11 May packaging specialist Multivac hosts the SAVE FOOD-exhibition on global food losses at its headquarters in Wolfertschwenden, Unterallgäu. The exhibition is open on weekdays and addressed to schools, educational institutions and an interested audience.

MULTIVAC supports the initiative SAVE FOOD since its inception by the FAO and Messe Düsseldorf about a year ago. On occasion of the opening Christian Traumann, CFO of MULTIVAC Sepp Haggenmüller GmbH & Co. KG and president of interpack, emphasized the corporate responsibility of the packaging industry in the fight against global food losses and waste, "Our industry can contribute to a sustainable development in emerging and developing countries. By granting, for example, local food producers in emerging and developing nations access to appropriate packaging materials and technologies, we help them make their products more durable and transportable, and sell them to third parties”.
