Fresher Than Ever!
Young – innovative – focused: This is the motto of the three food trade fairs for September 2012
Preparations for InterMopro (dairy products), InterCool (frozen foods, ice cream, technology) and InterMeat (meat and sausages), held from 23 to 25 September 2012, are in high gear. The exhibitor invitations will be sent out starting at the end of September 2011. The freshness trio is sporting a new look, not only externally, but also with a more youthful concept and more focused market orientation. The focus of the three specialised trade fairs for temperature-controlled foods will definitely be on the counter, be it the sales counter, the pre-pack counter, the refrigerated counter or the freezer. Because the counter is the most important sales factor for retailers.
A new addition to the next freshness trio are the ”Brand Villages”, where brand name producers will be represented in particular. Thus, these product representatives are given the opportunity by Messe Düsseldorf to shine a spotlight on their specialties. These lavishly designed villages with individual, open cubes for the participating producers also comprise a comprehensive, all-inclusive service package.
During its debut in 2010, the “Gourmet-Plaza” was still in its baby shoes, but for its second edition, it is developing into and central marketplace for delicatessen and fresh regional products. Ideally positioned at the interface between InterMopro and InterMeat and designed in an attractive, Mediterranean ambiance, the plaza will offer deli salads, fine oils, fresh pasta products and antipasti, as well as fish delicacies, delicatessen and spices.
The relaunch of InterMopro, InterCool and InterMeat also includes a streamlining of the trio’s runtime from previously four to now three days. “With this, we are responding to the specific wishes of the exhibitors. It also allows us to get the trade visitors to the stands in a more focused and concentrated manner,” explains Elke Moebius, Director of the food trade fairs. “We are sure that this general overhaul of the trade fair concept will again fortify the position of the three specialty trade fairs as the foremost B2B meeting point for decision-makers from the freshness industry and the retail sector,” Moebius continues.
The new alignment of InterMopro, InterCool and InterMeat also means that food and technology providers can now be found in clearly defined areas, which will aid visitors in their orientation onsite. In addition, the food fair trio will be separated in time and location from hogatec for the first time in 10 years. This is because the upcoming hogatec, International Trade Fair for the Hotel, Gastronomy and Catering Industry 2012, will be held in Essen from 02 to 05 September.
The forthcoming freshness trio does not only show a younger and better optimised concept, but also a new design, which clearly expresses the idea of the relaunch of the brand. Modern, clear logos correspond with the young, dynamic selection of motifs on posters and advertisements. As partners for this comprehensive campaign, Messe Düsseldorf relies on true industry insiders: the new outfit of InterMopro, InterCool and InterMeat is being designed by the renowned agency taste!, Food & Beverage specialists from Offenbach.
For example, the promotion for InterMopro, InterCool and InterMeat includes bold messages that are clear, yet emotional, and contain a dash of humour. All reflect daily shopping scenarios. A feature of the new brand management is the clear delineation of the individual events. This way, InterMopro, InterCool and InterMeatare again being noticed better as individual specialist trade fairs.
The relaunch also brings about the new design of all three Internet portals. The structure is modern and purist, with subtle colours. It takes the user directly and without detours to the desired trade fair services and industry information.
InterMopro, InterCool and InterMeat 2012, held in Halls 9 – 12 of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre, are open for trade visitors from 23 to 25 September 2012, daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Further information is available online at www.intermopro.de, www.intercool.de, www.intermeat.de.
